Understanding Microfiber
At its most basic, the term “microfiber” refers to a micro, or small, fiber made up of synthetic materials such as polyester, nylon or a combination of the two fibers.
The individual microfibers are knit together to form cleaning tools that are able to trap microscopic particles and liquids within the intricate network of small fibers far more efficiently than larger fibers.

Selecting the best microfiber product for a facility will depend on laundering capabilities, cleaning processes and the surfaces that need to be cleaned.
Disposable Microfiber
Single-use microfiber is best used in high-risk or high-touch areas, or if laundering is not available.
Durable Microfiber
Use a launderable microfiber cloth for routine cleaning, color-coded cleaning and if commercial laundering is available.
Specialty Microfiber
Specialty microfiber is designed for specific uses like glass and mirror cleaning, dry dusting or heavy duty scrubbing for tile and grout.
