Commercial Floor Squeegees: Straight, Curved & Heavy-Duty

Rubbermaid Commercial Products® floor squeegees remove standing water, spills, and liquid waste from floors quickly and without leaving marks — an essential tool for restrooms, kitchens, entryways, and any space prone to wet floors. Choosing the right one comes down to the blade shape (straight or curved), the blade material (hard rubber for smooth floors, moss rubber for uneven or grouted floors), and the width for the area you're clearing. All RCP floor squeegee blades accept standard tapered handles, sold separately, so you can match the handle length to the job. Straight vs. Curved: Which Floor Squeegee?

Straight floor squeegees push water and debris in a straight line across the floor — simple, general-purpose, and effective for everyday spills and smaller areas. Curved floor squeegees hug the floor and channel water into a controlled path, so less escapes around the ends as you pull. That makes a curved blade more efficient for moving water across larger floors and directing it toward a drain.

Choosing the Right Blade

Blade material is the other key decision. Hard rubber blades work best on smooth, even surfaces. Moss rubber blades — a soft, closed-cell rubber — conform to uneven floors and grout lines, pulling water out of textured surfaces without leaving marks. Dual moss blades are non-marking and double-edged for longer life, while heavy-duty natural moss rubber handles the toughest jobs, clearing wet or dry spills from uneven floors and grout lines in demanding environments.
